Use Your Video Editing Skills for Good: Volunteer with Films for the Planet

Are you a skilled video editor looking to give back to your community? Films for the Planet is seeking a volunteer video editor to help us produce impactful videos, interviews and podcasts that amplify our mission of promoting empathy and social change.

As a volunteer video editor, you will be responsible for editing one MP4 video and/or one MP3 podcast audio per month. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals dedicated to creating engaging content that raises awareness about social and environmental issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
  • Passion for social change and promoting empathy

Responsibilities:

  • Edit one MP4 video and one MP3 podcast audio per month
  • Collaborate with Films for the Planet’s team to ensure that the content aligns with our mission and values
  • Incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed

We also support the work of social change artists through fiscal sponsorship and work with a host of non-profits, artists, indie filmmakers and movement-makers in combined efforts to affect positive world change through media impact. By providing strategic insight, Compathos helps content producers and mission-driven organizations maximize their social impact and navigate the shifts in technology and storytelling.
