Fairy Tale Closet Need to Know

Volunteers are expected to wear black or any dark gray/ gray attire. The event will be on the 7 th floor O'Hara Hall at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library. The library is located at 1515 Young St. Dallas, TX 75201.

Your duties will include:

  • Helping teens find prom attire. From dresses to earrings and shoes. We have suits, but please know the selection is very limited. We have let anyone interested in a suit know this. It is best they are reminded upon arrival.
  • Possibly helping teens if they do not have anyone with them, try on dresses. This includes helping zip or tie parts of the attire. It's best to know that for some of the teens this will be their first time trying on formal attire.
  • Organizing racks.

    Clean up and returning the items to storage. Manual Labor is required. Volunteers can stay as long as they are able.
