ORGANIZATION: Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter

Image_202302281103

Every year on the summer solstice - the longest day of the year - the Alzheimer’s Association encourages individuals and groups to learn about Alzheimer’s disease and participate in fundraising activities as we join together to search for a cure. We have just launched our own CT17ers challenge - where we will paint the highest peaks in Connecticut purple to raise funds and awareness for all those affected by Alzheimer's and dementia.

Your Commitment to Us:

*Assist with event logistics.
*Create a plan to recognize and incentivize community members to join the CT17ers!
*Coach team leaders with fundraising efforts and assist with additional Longest Day tasks.
*Ability to table at community-wide events.
*Create Event Flyers and Graphics and share Graphics on social media outlets.
*Optional: Hiking the 17 Peaks with the groups that register!
