Visit A Woman Affected By ALS & Brighten Her Day! (Kilkenny)
ORGANIZATION: The ALS Association, MN/ND/SD Chapter
Please visit the new page to apply.
An 82-year-old woman with ALS recently moved from the Twin Cities to live with her daughter in Kilkenny. She had 2 ALS Association volunteers visit her in her old home and would really love to have visitors in her new location. It would be most helpful for volunteers to simply visit and provide companionship, but there also may be opportunities to help with light housekeeping, reading (she has low vision), etc.
Scheduling can be flexible based on what works for the volunteer: if you'd like to help a neighbor in need, we'd love to hear from you! This opportunity is part of the ALS Association's Family Assistance Program: https://www.als.org/mn-nd-sd/mn-nd-sd/local-care-services/family-assistance-program
