ORGANIZATION: SMALLMATTERS INSTITUTE INC

Help us build capacity to reach a larger audience with potential funders, sponsors and community leaders. Your responsibilities would include writing and/or personalizing letters, researching potential community partners and helping us expand our network. This volunteer opportunity could be 100% remote or if you live near western or central New York in the Finger Lakes region you would get an opportunity to meet the rest of the team and partake in various events.

Our mission is to make this world a better place; to unite more people; and to expose young community members to real-world training situations and prepare them to be future leaders of a kinder, better and more loving world. In order to do this we need more people involved.

At this time, we operate in the USA and Canada and will consider volunteers that reside in these countries. We hope to expand to other countries soon and at that time we plan on accepting volunteers from other countries as well.

About SMALLMATTERS INSTITUTE INC

Location:

14 S PITTSFORD HILL LN, PITTSFORD, NY 14534, US

Mission Statement

smallMatters Institute unites great people doing great things to pursue common goals. We connect visionary individuals and organizations with the right networks and funding to realize the changes they seek.

Description

Proving it’s possible to design systems that foster, promote and propagate social change and support economic excellence, we identify and demonstrate measurable programs to address critical gaps in our society.
Once we identify a societal gap that we can fill, we develop micro-level proof-of-concept experiments to assess feasibility and scalability on a macro level. We consider the social, cultural, environmental and financial factors of our projects and track specific metrics to assess their impact, adjusting our approach as needed. By starting small, we can conserve our talent and resources so that we might focus on big opportunities.
