Recruiting Organization: Torture Abolition and Survivor Support Coalition International (TASSC)

TASSC is looking for a Donor Outreach & Fundraising volunteer to provide assistance to our Executive Director in identifying prospective donors, raising funds, writing proposals, and maintaining existing donor cultivation. This position is critical to TASSC's long-term organizational sustainability and service delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Assist the Executive Director in maintaining relationships with existing donors, regularly responding to their requests, and updating them about the work of the organization

· Organize or provide assistance in organizing fundraising events for the organization

· Undertake online research and build contacts with potential individual investors/donors and raise funds for the activities of the organization.

· Compile and maintain a database of international and local donor organizations (international foundations, bilateral and multilateral agencies and private corporations offering donations)

· Regularly monitor donor websites and identify investor opportunities matching the work of the organization

· Improve and develop communications material for the organization such as brochures, website updates, annual reports, posters etc.

· Assist the Executive Director in writing concept notes, project ideas and project proposals and ensure their timely submission

· Undertake independent research in finding alternative resources for long-term sustainability of the organization

· Suggest other innovative ideas for effective resource mobilization.
