An exciting opportunity for an editor passionate about social and environmental issues and playing their part in creating positive change.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with and supporting our managing editor wherever required.
- Editing stories & getting them ready to be published on the platform.
- Working with our writers to fine-tune stories.
- Interviewing subjects & writing feature pieces for the platform.
- Writing introductions for Q&A interviews.
- Writing copy for our email newsletters.
- Must have an education in English, Journalism, Communications or a related area with at least 2 years of experience working in an editorial team. Alternatively, you can prove your editing skills by completing our test tasks.
- Exceptional writing & editing skills.
- Familiarity with SEO (preferable).
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and multitask.
