An exciting opportunity for an editor passionate about social and environmental issues and playing their part in creating positive change.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with and supporting our managing editor wherever required.
  • Editing stories & getting them ready to be published on the platform.
  • Working with our writers to fine-tune stories.
  • Interviewing subjects & writing feature pieces for the platform.
  • Writing introductions for Q&A interviews.
  • Writing copy for our email newsletters.
Requirements
  • Must have an education in English, Journalism, Communications or a related area with at least 2 years of experience working in an editorial team. Alternatively, you can prove your editing skills by completing our test tasks.
  • Exceptional writing & editing skills.
  • Familiarity with SEO (preferable).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask.
