Description of Role: The Volunteer Grants Records Assistant will help with the digitization of confidential development records. The assistant will organize and scan grants and donor records to help reduce paper in the office and to provide the development team with a more efficient filing system.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Organize development documents chronologically
  • Scan documents so that they can be digitally filed

Skills/Qualifications Required: Must have good vision and hearing; ability to operate a scanner, ability to work with confidential documents. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desired Experience: Past office experience preferred.

Time Commitment: 2 -4 hours between hours of 9am - 4pm one day per week (M-F).

An unparalleled roster of the 19th and 20th century railroad equipment, original shop buildings, and surviving tracks at the historic Mt. Clare site provide an integrated resource to present virtually every aspect of American railroad development and its impact on our society, culture and economy.
