HCA is seeking adults who wish to dedicate one morning/early afternoon a week to greet and assist visitors and students, and staff who come to the arts center. Some light admin duties may be assigned, but volunteers are welcome to bring a book or other quiet activity with them.
Volunteers will be trained where to direct phone calls, assist people coming into the art center with their questions, help spread the word about upcoming events. Must be present a friendly and professional demeanor. Perfect for retirees!
Shifts are generally Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and noon to 3 p.m.

Mission: Serving individuals of all ages, cultures, and artistic abilities across the MetroWest region, the HCA develops artistic skills, offers outstanding artistic performances and exhibitions, and enables visitors to experience art in all forms. Under one roof, we celebrate art through classes and events in visual art, theater, music, dance, ceramics, writing, and film.
Description
The HCA is an art center that offers educational and performance opportunities in the visual arts, theater, music, dance and film. Enter Stage Left Theater is the resident theater company producing twelve shows a year for various ages. These productions include childrens theatre, adult drama and musicals, Shakespeare Under the Stars and a One Act Festival. ESL Theater also offers an adult chorus the "Treblemakers" The HCA offers classes and workshops for all ages, several art gallery shows including juried and solo shows as well as boutiques, a sunset jazz series in the summer and several fundraising events.
