Volunteers are not just important to MCRS, they literally are MCRS. Volunteers do most everything that needs to be done within the organization from picking up the mail and caring for homeless rabbits to keeping financial records and scooping litter boxes.
Some areas of volunteer need are:
- Adoption Events
- Hoppy Hours and Bunny Yoga
- Supplies Sales
- Fundraising
- Fostering
All MCRS volunteers must complete the General Volunteer Application and attend a Bunny Basics meeting.

Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society (MCRS) is a volunteer-based, member-supported, nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public about companion rabbits and assisting homeless rabbits with finding lifelong homes.
