Mission Statement
Our mission is to educate people on responsible pet ownership and to reduce the homeless pet population through adoptions and spay/neuter. All animals up for adoption are up to date on shots and have been spayed or neutered. We accept a limited number of healthy, adoptable animals since we are all volunteer. We also investigate and prosecute cases of animal abuse in the county of Marshall, MS.
Description
The Marshall County Humane Society is comprised solely of volunteers who simply love animals enough to try to make a difference in their lives. We receive no public or private funding, so are dependent on donations and fundraisers to continue our mission. All of our animals that are up for adoption are being cared for at our Center or in foster homes. We limit our intakes so that we are able to give each animal the very best medical care and attention possible. We would only euthanize an animal under extreme circumstances, such as aggression or untreatable medical issues.
