Are you a licensed massage therapist in Eugene-Springfield and/or outlying areas and interested in meaningful support to hospice patients and families? Join us to become Cascade Health Hospice Massage Volunteer and provide physical and emotional support to terminally ill hospice patients through ongoing massage visits. We will work with your schedule and availabilities. Volunteers can gift as little time as once a month for a few hours to as much time as you can offer!
Requirements to become a Cascade Health Massage Volunteers;
- Submit Cascade Health Hospice Application, Background Check, TB test (Free for volunteers) and copy of Covid Vaccination Card
- Complete FREE 16 hours of Cascade Health Hospice Training and become a CH Hospice Volunteer
- Current Certification in State of Oregon as Massage Therapist
- Proof of liability insurance
- Complete License Massage Therapy Competency exam and annual evaluation.

Description
Cascade Hospice provides supportive care and hospice services for patients with life-limiting illnesses. We focus on quality of life and comfort through pain and symptom management, while offering physical, emotional, social and spiritual support for both patient and family no matter where the patient lives. We are proud to have recently opened Pete Moore Hospice House - the first in Lane County. Our Core Values include:
