ORGANIZATION: Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia (ISANS)

This role is based in Halifax, NS and is in person.

- You will be meeting with a refugee family in a public place (library or park) once a week for about 2 hours (Meetings are in person)

(you can decide what time depending on what you agree on with the family)

- You will help the family decide which activity or recreation program to choose depending on their interest

- You will help them register for the programs and apply for funds

- You will show them how to get to community recreation centres, parks and playgrounds and have the chance to participate with them in free activities.
