AGAPE HOSPICE CARE IS LOOKING FOR VETERAN TO VETERAN VOLUNTEERS.
- As a military veteran, you may ask yorself, why volunteer for a hospice company?
- How can I possibly make an impact on a terminally ill patient?
- Why would a fellow Veteran possibly want another Veteran for companionship near the end?
- Because it helps fellow veterans at the end of thier life knowing they are with someone who UNDERSTANDS them.
- You can and will be able to connect on a deeper level with a fellow veteran because you understand what they have been through.
We are currently looking for men and women veterans who would like to visit a Veteran hospice patient. Help by participating in Veteran acknowledgments, welcoming home (vietnam vets) and pinning ceremonies. These are our nations hero's and they deserve the best!
If this is something you would love to be involved in, by all means, let's talk!
