Become a volunteer with the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)

Basic volunteer duties involved with this assignment:

1. Along side of the SCSEP Director you will onboard these seniors job seekers to better prepare them for job training and employment
2. Work one-on-one with SCSEP Participants on creating or updating their resumes
3. Assist SCSEP Participants on building their skills using computers
4. Support SCSEP Participants as they apply for jobs. Conversations on interview practice, professionalism in the workplace, etc.

Basic volunteer qualifications involved with this assignment:
Interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to positively interact with SCSEP job seekers and guest speakers

SCSEP job seekers in Hamilton County will be served by this assignment. The benefit is to provide them with valuable job readiness information and training that is helpful to their health, safety, and provide them with activities which will lead to their unsubsidized employment.

Volunteers will need excellent communication skills, computer skills and prior HR experience is a plus!
