Membership Coordinator Volunteer Wanted
Have you ever wanted to join a makerspace? Whether it's new to you, or you're a veteran maker, North End Makers could use your help welcoming new members into our community. We think you'd be a great ambassador for our community, especially if you like learning about peoples passions and being the helpful go-to person for questions big or small. Being friendly and comfortable with new faces is a must. You would not be the only volunteer in this role, so rest assured we'll support you and set you up for success.


Duties
  • Onboard new members
  • Give tours to prospective members
  • Assign keys
  • Help with member issues

Time Commitment
Eight hours a month, including four onsite onboarding members during a regular schedule of your choosing

Our mission is to provide a friendly, inclusive, and affordable creative space and the tools for makers, artists, scientists, tinkerers, and learners of all ages to collaborate, hack, invent, share, create, and make. We are dedicated to sharing knowledge, building relationships, and fostering entrepreneurship and personal development, especially in the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (S.T.E.A.M.).

Description

We are a nonprofit makerspace in the north end of the greater Seattle area. We are an inclusive community of makers, creators, and artists who get together to learn, share, and grow. All people, crafts, and skill levels are welcome.
