Caretenders Hospice is seeking caring and compassionate volunteers to provide socialization and emotional support to patients at the end of their life.
We have opportunities for individuals that enjoy visiting with the elderly, singing, reading to them, playing games, just being there and visiting. We also have opportunities for volunteers to provide administrative support in our office in Moraine.
If you're interested in being a hospice volunteer call or e-mail Elizabeth Bingham, Volunteer Manager at elizabeth.bingham@lhcgroup.com/ (937) 429-3677.

Mission Statement
OUR MISSION Hospice exists to provide symptom control and support for persons in the last phases of incurable disease so they may live as fully and as comfortable as possible. Hospice recognizes dying as a part of the normal process of living and focuses on maintaining the quality of remaining life. Hospice affirms life and neither hastens nor postpones death. Hospice exists in the hope and belief that, through appropriate care and the support of a caring community sensitive to their needs, terminally ill patients and their families may be free to attain a degree of mental and spiritual preparation for death that is satisfactory to them. Hospice offers palliative care to all terminally ill patients and support to those patients and families without regard for diagnosis, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, race, creed, disability, age, place of residence, or ability to pay.
