Established in 2015, Women Entrepreneurs for Africa (WEforAFRICA) is a U.S. based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with operations in the United States and several countries in Africa.

Women account for more than 50 percent of Sub-Saharan Africa’s population. Unfortunately, an estimated 42.8 percent of female youth between the ages of 15 and 24 are illiterate, according to the United Nations Girls' Education Initiative.
