Heritage Reservation - Camp Independence

Resident camps, Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts camp overnight. Every year, the resident camp has a different theme and different adventures. Upcoming themes include Wild West, Space, Knights of the Roundtable, Safari, and Dinosaurs. At resident camp, Cub Scouts, Webelos Scouts, their leaders, and parents get to try new skills and have a lot of fun with our incredible summer camp staff.

We are looking for some volunteers to help us provide program to elementary age children (5-10 years old) at our summer resident camp. The program runs from Friday afternoon thru Monday evening but we have need for some or all of those days. The position will provide lodging and meals for the volunteer. This position begins the middle of June and has six weekend sessions through the end of July.

This position is perfect for elementary school educators, middle school educators, retirees, or anyone who has weekend availability. Must be able to produce Pennsylvania State Clearances in order to work with youth.
