Hello! We are looking for volunteers for this year's Rochester Heart Walk and Run at Monroe Community College on June 8, 2023. We'll need some volunteers to help set up before the event, as well as some to help us run the event, and clean up afterwards. We expect volunteers to be available for at least one of these "shifts", although if you're free for the whole day, even better!

This event includes a vendor display where our sponsors and other community members involved in the mission have tabled displays for our walkers and guests, sharing health information and other fun stuff! There is also a 3k walk/run where walkers walk the designated route at their own pace, and runners are timed in their own separate race.

We are hoping to also host a pre-event "tailgate" where some food and games will be provided to top walkers/companies to get them excited for the event. After the walk is over, we'll need help cleaning up signage, tables and chairs, and other materials that we'll need for the activities listed above.

The dress code is sporty/casual - comfortable shoes are highly recommended, as well as comfortable pants and shirts. Think "what would I wear to go on a walk?". And obviously, red is always a plus!
