ORGANIZATION: Capital Hospice and Palliative Care

  • 6 people are interested

Music is there for us in the darkest and brightest times in our lives. Capital Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking compassionate volunteers who have music capabilities. Our patients either reside at their current residence or they are transported comfortably to assisted living.

Since words sometimes fails us, we turn to music. As a musician, you can share your talent with people who need the sweet sounds of a beautiful ballad playing in their ears. Even if it just for a moment in time, as a music volunteer, you possess the ability to transport our patients to a happier time through music.

When you volunteer with us, we provide you with personal training and individual support. As well as a flexible schedule, freedom to choose if you see patients in their residence versus in facility. and lastly how much of your time you dedicate to volunteering. Whether you choose to volunteer once a week or once a month, we value your time with us. Getting started is easy, please contact Hannah Youkhana at 630-395-7728 or by email at hyoukhana@capitalhpc.com
