Phone Calls: Volunteer from Home!
ORGANIZATION: Hosparus Health
Please visit the new page to apply.

Do you enjoy talking on the phone and checking in with individuals in your local community? Are you interested in volunteering but would like an opportunity that fits in your schedule but still touches the lives of those in your community? Volunteers are needed at Hosparus Health to assist in calling the loved ones of patients that have passed in our service to remind them of grief counseling services available to them and to just "check in."
Volunteers will be provided a list of monthly calls to make and a call script. Calls can be made from home. Volunteers can make phone calls at any time during the month that calls are assigned and will turn in paperwork monthly to Volunteer Manager.
Hosparus Health Barren River services the following 10 counties: Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson and Warren. Volunteers can live in any of these 10 counties.
Volunteers will need to complete a brief training with online requirements. All volunteers are required to have the COVID vaccine. Volunteers must have a flu shot on record from November 1 to March 31.
You can complete an application and find more information about volunteering at hosparushealth.org/volunteers/
