We are looking for a brand ambassador/outreach coordinator who is passionate about issues affecting the African continent, more specifically, issues affecting women and girls. This person needs to be located in the DMV (DC, MD, VA) area and can travel for meetings, event coordination, ect., and can commit at least 5 hours a week.

The Brand Ambassador and Outreach Coordinator is a volunteer position with Impact Sierra Leone.

Position Overview: The Brand Ambassador and Outreach Coordinator will play a pivotal role in promoting ISL's commitment to uplift underserved communities in Sierra Leone. Through effective communication, community engagement, and brand representation, this person will help raise awareness of our programs and initiatives, foster relationships with key stakeholders, and drive meaningful change in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Representation:

Act as the public face of the organization, embodying its mission, values, and objectives.

Represent the organization at various events, meetings, and community gatherings to establish a positive and impactful presence.

Community Engagement:

Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage underserved communities, including identifying key locations and events for interaction.

Establish strong relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and individuals to understand needs and concerns.

Collaborate with program managers to promote initiatives that benefit underserved communities, ensuring accurate and persuasive messaging.

Coordinate and assist in the development of marketing materials, presentations, and collateral to promote programs.

Networking and Partnerships:

Build partnerships with local businesses, schools, governmental bodies, and NGOs to expand the organization's reach and impact.

Seek opportunities for collaboration and joint initiatives that align with the organization's mission.

Event Coordination:

Organize and execute community events, workshops, and informational sessions to engage target communities and educate them about available resources.

Data Collection and Reporting:

Track and report outreach efforts, engagement metrics, and community feedback to inform program enhancements and strategic decisions.

Requirements
Passion for social impact and a commitment to improving the lives of underserved populations.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

Fluency in local languages and English is preferred.
