Job Title: Volunteer Board Member - Program Director

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our board of directors at Her Destiny as a Program Director. As a volunteer board member, you will help guide our nonprofit organization towards achieving our mission to empower and restore the lives of homeless and high-risk girls and young women.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation of the organization's programs and services
• Evaluate the effectiveness of current programs and services and recommend improvements
• Develop and manage new programs to better serve our community
• Collaborate with the executive director and other board members to develop and implement the organization's strategic plan
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Act as an ambassador for Her Destiny and help build relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners

Requirements:

• Experience in a leadership role, preferably in program management or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for supporting and empowering young women
• Understanding of the nonprofit sector and fundraising strategies
• Willingness to make a minimum 2-year commitment to the board
