Consequence Forum is a 501(c)(3) organization seeking a volunteer Development Associate to join our Development Team.
This position is focused on helping to support our orgs' operational costs through 1) cultivating current donors and 2) identifying and soliciting prospects to become major donors. The Development Associate will report to the Executive Editor and the Development Director, and serve as a frontline fundraiser and relationship builder with an emphasis on securing meetings with major donor prospects. This position is remote and asks for two to three hours a week.
Because the position is volunteer, it is considered ideal for a qualified individual who has a commitment to our mission. Our mission, in short, is to address the human consequences and realities of war and geopolitical violence in order to promote a clearer and more nuanced understanding of what’s at stake in choosing to wage war or engage in conflict. We do this through the publication of literature and art, and through the hosting of online community events that focus on the experiences of combatants, witnesses, and victims. Our organization is currently forty-five strong (mostly volunteers) and growing.
BIPOC and other underrepresented individuals are strongly encouraged to apply.
If you'd like to learn more about our mission or our org, please visit: www.consequenceforum.org/ or email our Executive Editor, Dr. Matthew Krajniak, at exec.ed@consequenceforum.org.
Thank you.
