We need your help!
Senior Community Service Volunteers offer Free Tech Clinics as well as one on one support to Seniors in the Elk River area.
Right now we need a volunteer to help with a once a month Tech Clinic in Elk River. We offer Tech Clinics at both the Elk River Senior Center and at Guardian Angels and NOW ALSO AT THE ELK RIVER SENIOR CENTER.
This commitment is for 3 hours and don't worry! we have back up if you come across a Tech issue you cannot figure out.

Many older adults are interested in using technology and want to learn how to make their device work for them. If you have tech skills and enjoy helping others learn, this role is for you!
Tech volunteers help with a variety of requests:
- Learning the "language" (tap, swipe, scroll, click)
- Making and receiving calls, accessing voicemail, texting, and setting up contacts
- Creating and using an email account
- Learning how to use FaceTime, Duo, and Zoom
- Downloading and using apps for shopping, banking, games, and more
- Best practices for online safety and security
This is a flexible opportunity that can accommodate your work or class schedule. Volunteers typically provide support for two to three hours each week at local community and senior centers in Wright, and Sherburne Counties.
