Job Description

The Food Pantry Coordinator will assist the Storage Manager with the day to day operations of the Face Friends Foundation Food Pantry. The position requires frequent contact with volunteers, vendors, clients and the general public.

Job Responsibilities

The main job responsibilities, are to update the Executive Director and the Director of Operation in Jamaica through virtual meeting on the status of the operation of the Food pantry. The Food Pantry Coordination must be computer proficient as almost all of this job is done on the computer. The Food Pantry Coordinator must have the ability to secure injventory through various available sources. Train and direct volunteers to serve effectively. Coordinates schedules, assist in logging volunteer hours, and give direction to the pantry volunteers. Responds to request for information regarding the food pantry in a timely manner. Gives necessary referals and information to out area clients, attends virtual Administrative team meetings. Assist in coordinating training events for food pantry volunteers, assist in coordinating food drives with local community partners inlcuding churches, schools communities and other organizations. Keep accurate food pantry records, complete food pantry reports monthly and subk,it the requested reports and inspections of the food bank in a timely manner.
