We are always looking for volunteers to support our rescue efforts through help with transportation. Dogs and cats often need rides to and from veterinary appointments or between foster homes. Transport is typically needed Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm but other opportunities may occasionally come up.

Mission Statement
Broken Tail Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue organization dedicated to the rescue of unwanted and abandoned dogs and cats in urgent need. We work closely with local animal controls, animal shelters and rescue groups to ensure the placement of these forgotten animals. We will not discriminate on basis of health, age, or breed and will only consider humane euthanasia in cases of aggression or for quality of life due to untreatable medical conditions.
Description
We take in dogs and cats that are in need of new homes from local animal controls, shelters and owners and find appropriate homes for them after they are spayed or neutered. We do this through the use of foster homes and volunteers.
