Bernardi MPC part of the nonprofit organization, Valley Intercommunity Council. We own and operate a small boutique to help raise money for the senior citizen programs that Bernardi MPC operates

The Fashion Merchandising internship will include tasks such as:

  • Promoting the collection Clothing donations on multiple social media platforms
  • Creates weekly display areas
  • Survey sample audience to find out what styles, promotions, and sizes are best for the location.
  • Perform daily tasks of cash handling, stocking, store opening and closing procedures.
  • Lead consolidation/re-assortment of clothing donations to strengthen merchandise productivity

2 Shifts

  • morning / 09:00 AM to 11:30 AM

  • afternoon / 12:00 PM to 03:00 PM

Description

VIC-Valley InterCommunity Council provides nutritionally balanced meals to mature adults, families, and individuals throughout the San Fernando Valley through various nutrition programs. There is truly something for everyone, from those unable to prepare meals due to a recent hospital visit to homebound individuals, to adults looking for a social dining atmosphere. VIC-Valley InterCommunity Council also provides transportation services, case management, health and wellness activities, social and recreational events and a Meals on Wheels service. As our world changes, we are called to new and creative ways to express our values in the world, to respond to the sign of the times, and to make our services and programs even more relevant.
