One of the ways that Catholic Charities helps newly arriving refugee families is to secure safe, clean, affordable housing for them. We need help setting up the apartment or house. This can include cleaning, moving furniture, making beds, arranging the kitchen, and decorating.
The finishing touches volunteers add help make the house into a Home.
This position will be "on-call". We will usually have about 2 weeks' notice of shift timings. It is dependent on the family's scheduled arrival to Erie. Set up times will generally be during business hours M-F or on Saturday morning, exceptions can be made.
