Volunteer opportunities include:
- Evening activities: Assist with providing fun evening group activities for patients.
- Surgery waiting room assistance: Greet and assist families in our waiting room for surgery patients.
- Play date: Entertain patients by playing games, playing with toys, reading books or other activities.
- Rehabilitation therapies: Assist with setting up therapy sessions and other support in our physical therapy department.
- Therapy dog teams: Volunteers with therapy dogs certified through Pet Partners can visit with patients and families.

Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare is an internationally recognized medical facility based in St. Paul that combines medical, nursing, therapeutic, technical, psychosocial and other expertise in family-centered programs. We provide services at our clinics, in the hospital and throughout the region, in response to community needs and often in collaboration with other organizations. We seek to build community partnerships that help continue our mission and enhance care for people who have disabilities.
