Our 14th Annual 5K Run/Walk and Family Fun Day returns this May 20th to Centennial Gardens in Floral Park, NY! Family Fun Day is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Our community enjoys the 5K, Emma's Mile, Pee Wee Run, Aly's Art, Katie's Dress-Up Closet, face painting, carnival games, live entertainment, refreshments, bounce houses and RAFFLE PRIZES!
We are looking for a group of volunteers to join our Family Fun Day Raffle Committee. Responsibilities may include:
- Soliciting raffle items for baskets from local businesses
- Coming up with fun names and descriptions for each basket
- Wrapping raffle baskets in cellophane with bows
- Storing baskets until Family Fun Day
- Selling raffle tickets on Family Fun Day
- Sending thank you cards to donors

Mission Statement
The Hance Family Foundation engages girls and women of all ages across the tristate area, nationally and abroad with innovative educational programs that support the development of self-esteem. We are devoted to honoring the memories of Emma, Alyson and Katie Hance, who tragically lost their lives in a car accident in the summer of 2009. Our foundation was founded that same year with a focus on female empowerment because Emma, Alyson and Katie lived with enthusiastic confidence.
Description
The Hance Family Foundation proudly presents Self-Esteem Rising, a suite of confidence-building programs. We are experts in the field of social-emotional learning. Our Self-Esteem Rising programs have impacted over 160,000 participants across 41 states and 15 countries!
