Volunteers are priceless - join the team!
Our Care Call Volunteers provide telephonic support to patients and families from the comfort of our hospice agency offices in Mission Valley. Volunteers will have a weekly shift to provide support alongside our clinical supervisors, gaining valuable professional and personal experience while supporting patients and families throughout San Diego County. Become an integral member of the Kaiser Permanente Hospice Team, adding professional development and healthcare experience to your resume!
Kaiser Permanente Hospice Volunteers are unique people who have special places in their hearts that motivate them to provide voluntary services to our Hospice patients and their family members.
Hospice Volunteers are thoroughly trained in hospice care and are members of the Interdisciplinary Care Team.

Description
The Kaiser Permanente Hospice Program offers special services to our patients and their families at a very critical time of their lives. Emphasis is on helping the patient to make the most of their remaining life. The patient, family, and caregivers are treated as one unit of care. One of the special services available is the Hospice Volunteer Program. Hospice Volunteers are unique people who have special places in their hearts that motivate them to provide voluntary services to our Hospice patients and their family members in the home care, inpatient, and clerical settings.
