Volunteers are priceless - join the team!

Our Memory Bear Volunteers create beautiful bears from the clothing or material dear to patients and families. Turn a grandfather's favorite t-shirts into beautiful bears his grandchildren will cherish for the rest of their lives. A mother's favorite dressing robe, a father's favorite jeans and western shirts - all material used to create a memory that can be held and hugged.

Kaiser Permanente Hospice Volunteers are unique people who have special places in their hearts that motivate them to provide voluntary services to our Hospice patients and their family members. Volunteers who wish to work with patients and families will undergo a thorough screening and training process; however, this is not required if volunteers simply want to sew the material provided to them.
