Recruiting Organization: In My Home Hospice Care

In My Home Hospice Care is seeking compassionate volunteers to share time with our hospice patients nearing their end of life.

Volunteer opportunities include direct care with patients such as visiting, walking, reading, doing arts and crafts and simply spending quality time. Respite and support for family members allow the family caregivers the opportunity to take care of necessary errands, exercise or simply have time alone.

Share your special skills and talents as a musically-inclined volunteer, as a certified pet therapy team, help with light yard work, work on arts and crafts, scrapbooking, or being a Veteran-to-Veteran volunteer.

Volunteers can visit patients who are in their private homes, group homes or who reside in assisted-living care facilities throughout the Valley. We will work with your schedule.

The volunteer process consists of an application/orientation, background check, TB test, and training. Such is at no cost to you and in a part of the application/orientation process.
