The Health Improvement Foundation of Cameroon (HIF-CAM) is a non-governmental, nonprofit organization incorporated under Cameroon law in 2003. Its mission is to: "Provide quality and affordable healthcare services to the rural communities deprived of access to healthcare services, aimed at saving and changing their lives". I am Chief Lewindia Nicholas, the CEO of HIF-CAM and a member of VolunteerMatch services. HIF-CAM is looking for a volunteer expert in web design and development who can improve the quality of HIF-CAM’s website to meet its goals: 1) Substitute the texts at the present home page with the ones at the new home page (to be supplied). 2) Redesign or edit the website to look professional and captivating to visitors and a site that will enable us reach support worldwide. Our website is hosted by Zyro.com. 3) Install functional social media for the website - Facebook, Tweeter, LinkIn and Instagram. 4) Install a functional unique landing/donation page with; insert links and linking buttons, and create forms and mobile friendly site. 5) Recommend VolunteerMatch features (donation code or widget to be embedded, adverts in our appreciation, volunteer platform/forum, etc) to be installed on the website. 6) Upload and drag and drop files in appropriate new pages continued from the home page. Our valued friend, can an experienced web designer like you consider helping to improve the following HIF-CAM’s website?- www.hif-cam.org. You are free to choose one or more of the above six items in which you are efficient. Description
In order to accomplish its mission HIF-CAM concentrates its activities in the following programs: (1) Healthcare services - trains health workers; constructs and equips health centers; supplies medical equipment and medicines to needy health centers. (2) Water and sanitation services - supplies safe drinking water to needy communities; improve hygiene and sanitation practices in needy communities. (3) Educational services - constructs and furnishes classrooms of dilapidated schools; supplies books and writing materials to poor pupils; gives scholarships to needy children. HIF-CAM has competent personnel, including engineers hired to execute all its projects.
