Join Friends of the Tonto National Forest in removing fountain and buffel grasses at Massacre Grounds Trailhead in the beautiful Superstition Mountains. We'll bring the tools and knowledge of invasive plants - you bring the muscle! Removing invasive plants is extremely important to reduce the impact wildfires have. These grasses add fuel to fires, causing them to burn longer and hotter. Help us protect one of the region's most idyllic areas. Check out our video to see a time lapse of volunteers in action!

Description
Friends of the Tonto National Forest was founded by a former Forest Service employee in order to help the Forest Service achieve the many projects that are being done. The Tonto is over 2.9 million acres, so managing it takes a lot of people!
