Help support in-person networking events at one of 3 Microsoft Reactor locations in Redmond, WA, San Francisco, and NYC. Event support volunteers will facilitate a short ChickTech presentation, lead a networking activity, greet guests, and answer questions about ChickTech. Volunteers must be able to bring a laptop to navigate the ChickTech presentation. The networking events will take place on April 20th 2023 from 5:30pm-8:00pm, in each respective time zone. Interested volunteers will receive a short training prior to the event date.

ChickTech is dedicated to retaining women and non-binary people in the technology workforce and increasing the number of people of marginalized genders pursuing technology-based careers.
Description
ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our events, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.
As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
