Do you know how to tap a tree? How to boil sap into syrup? Would you like to welcome visitors and greet them with a friendly face?

Fenner Conservancy - a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and managing body for Fenner Nature Center - connects people to nature in the heart of Lansing through conservation, education and stewardship.

Through the efforts of this organization, Fenner Nature Center continues to serve as a place of connection for our community and a resource for environmental education regionwide.
Our vision is to be recognized as a regional asset and trusted community partner, providing meaningful points of education and connection to the communities we serve. Our mission and our vision are fulfilled by conserving and maintaining 134 acres of green space in an urban setting, developing and implementing environmental education programming for diverse audiences, and engaging volunteers to be caretakers of this valuable resource for the benefit of all.

REQUIREMENTS
- This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
- Must be at least 16
- Each Shift is 2.5 hours long and you must be able to stay for the whole shift.
- If you are under the age of 18 an adult must accompany you while volunteering.
