Balancing Life & Kids, Inc is a non-profit organization that provides trauma-informed wellness services to individuals struggling with trauma and extreme stress.

We are looking for someone who has experience with fundraising and grants procurement to assist us in raising capital to continue to provide services to low-income participants who need our services. We currently serve Philadelphia and Delaware counties in Pennsylvania. Our target demographic is low-income and underserved women fleeing domestic violence; youth and young adults (ages 8-21) who live in high violence-prone neighborhoods; middle-class and upper-middle-class individuals dealing with toxic stress and/or emotionally abusive partner relationships.

We currently have partnerships with local charter schools to provide emotional development programming to young men living in inner-city neighborhoods and domestic violence prevention organizations providing body movement nervous system regulation classes. Funding for these programs would allow us to serve more people, expand our offerings, and include more services to these targeted populations.

Qualified individuals should have at least 3+ years of experience working with non-profits with our background, have an understanding of how program development works, and has been awarded at least $100,000 in funding within past organizations.
