Healing Hands & Happy Heart (H4I) seeks 4 volunteers/champions for good who genuinely desire to help a nonprofit launch initiatives for a sustainable future in low-income areas. The prospective board member has an opportunity to effect change at the ground level in St. Louis, MO then federally by 2028. H4I, an environmental nonprofit was created to cultivate love and healing to revitalize abandoned people and neighborhoods with beauty, design, and functional green spaces. Time rich, dedicated leaders for service are essential to our operations. If you care to sacrifice 5-14 hours per week and attend 1 monthly board meeting, please apply. The fiscal year begins in April 2023. We will conduct preliminary interviews by March 1st, 2023.
The following tasks are central to our progression plans.
- State registration and board of director documentation
- Scouting funding sources
- Creating a 2 yr-5 yr-10 yr. strategic plan
- Researching companies for in-kind donations for building access and cargo transportation
- Creating and approving policies, procedures, budgets, and expenditures
Objective: Recruit 4 board of directors as Board Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, and Director of Fundraising
Areas of interest:
- Social work, leadership & management, fundraising, researching, organizing teams, landscaping, gardening, coaching/counselling. and project management.
Duties:
- Attend recruitment and sponsorship presentations
- Attend monthly board meetings
- Use time wisely to achieve weekly objectives and solutions
- Update president/chair regarding progress of assignments
- Discuss report findings and funding sources
- Actively contact fundraising sources for in-kind donations & support
- Communicate business development and nonprofit partnership opportunities

Vision
It is our intention to be a pillar in the community and provide a safe space for people and members to receive comfort, support, and guidance to overcome negative forces which cause mental and emotional ailments and circumstances that cause depression, despair, anxiety, discomfort, and mental and emotional disease.
History
We were founded in Spring 2021, on the premise of each one can teach one. This organization was birthed from the desire to expand and enrich the daily experiences of individuals in underserved communities. The nonprofit serves as an opportunity to pay homage to my ancestors: my mother, aunt, grandmother, uncle and God who were very influential in my upbringing and created wholesome experiences that permeate my childhood memories.
One day I experienced an epiphany of my purpose and discovered an opportunity to give back to society in a monumental way. I desire to unify people from all walks of faith on one accord in their walk with the Divine Creator, God. We accomplish this in the way we show up and interact with one another. We lead by example and live in our divine essence because Supreme Divine Love is guided by Intentional Upright Action.
