JA BizTown: Connecting the dots between what kids learn in school and how it’s applied in the real world isn’t that simple. That’s where JA BizTown comes in! This engaging, hands-on program that introduces 5th graders to economic concepts, workplace skills, and personal and business finances in a student-sized town built just for them.
JA Finance Park: Imagine a generation where young people, no matter their background, know how to budget, save, and invest; a generation that is armed with the confidence and understanding to take control of their financial futures, their careers and the tools to achieve their dreams. Our mission is to provide students with opportunities to make those dreams a reality. At JA Finance Park students have the rare opportunity to experience their personal financial futures first-hand.

Mission Statement
Junior Achievement inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy.
Description
Junior Achievement uses hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. In partnership with business and educators, Junior Achievement brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential. After all, kids are our future.
Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay serves 12 counties including the entire Tampa Bay Area. Junior Achievement is a volunteer driven, non-profit organization. This year more than 3,100 business professionals, parents, retirees and college students will enter our schools to teach Junior Achievement programs. These volunteers use their personal experiences to make the Junior Achievement curricula practical and realistic. Providing children with positive adult role models, who illustrate ways to build self-confidence, develop skills and find avenues of success in our free enterprise system, is a hallmark of Junior Achievement.
