Do you have a teacher’s heart for women who are learning work skills? We offer small classes for women who need to brush up on their computer skills or have little experience using a computer. We need several teachers to teach these skills during daytime hours. Come on and give it a try! We provide the curriculum.

Description
Life skills focus on time management, money management, conflict resolution, anger management, boundaries and healthy relationships. The Jobs for Life curriculum focuses on matching a participant’s abilities and passions with job availability in Abilene, on finding the right job to meet both short-term and long-term goals, and on being a valuable employee. Participants also work on building their computer skills. In addition, each woman is matched with a prayer partner who meets with her once a week to encourage, listen, and prays for her.
