Are you a prayer warrior? Do you lift people up in prayer? Then you may like to volunteer as a prayer partner! We pair our participants up with a prayer partner to give them an extra layer of support as they are working towards employment skills and change in their lives.

Description
Life skills focus on time management, money management, conflict resolution, anger management, boundaries and healthy relationships. The Jobs for Life curriculum focuses on matching a participant’s abilities and passions with job availability in Abilene, on finding the right job to meet both short-term and long-term goals, and on being a valuable employee. Participants also work on building their computer skills. In addition, each woman is matched with a prayer partner who meets with her once a week to encourage, listen, and prays for her.
