Mission Statement

Saticoy Food Hub aims to create equitable economic opportunities for food producers while increasing access to local, fresh food for community members.

Description

Saticoy Food Hub was established in January of 2022. We currently have 2 programs: Saticoy Community Fridge and Saticoy Farmers Market. Our community fridge is a mutual aid program organized by our Food Access Coordinator and maintained by community volunteers. We are always accepting funding resources and volunteer support. The Saticoy Farmers Market is planned to start in April 2023, which will make it the first one ever in Saticoy. Being an underserved an unincorporated community, we are excited to be able to provide this experience to community members and youth.
