We need wonderful people who are full of heart to be a companion to our Hospice Patients in Pine Grove, Jackson, Pioneer, Valley Springs, Angels Camp. Sutter Creek, Buena Vista, Plymouth and Galt. One visit a week to a deserving hospice patient who needs companionship. Or someone to give Relief to a caregiver of a hospice patient. NOTHING TO DO - JUST BE THERE. You do need to be Covid free and have the booster, but that is it. Give us a call today and Be There for Someone Who Needs YOU. Not everyone can do this type of work, you HAVE TO CARE.

Description

Bristol Hospice provides hospice services to meet the physical, psycho-social, and spiritual needs of individuals at the end of life. We focus on an individualized plan of care which may include, as appropriate, the following services: nursing, physicians, hospice aides, spiritual support, therapy, dietary, counseling, volunteers, durable medical equipment, supplies, bereavement services and medications related to the terminal illness.

Volunteers are an important part of the hospice model. Volunteers provide special compassionate presence and support to our patients and family in ways that only a volunteer can. When a volunteer visits a patient, they are visiting the patient because they want to be there. It's not a job or an obligation. That is a powerful action for our patients and families!
