Many of our clients have no or limited access to transportation and need assistance in navigating around the city. Some of the transportation needs are (but not limited to): doctor appointments, grocery shopping, English classes, etc. Some of the opportunities will be ongoing but many of them will be irregular and one-off opportunities. Any requests for opportunities will be communicated 24 hours in advance with additional details regarding pick up and drop off locations.
A volunteer orientation and background check will be required and hosted through the agency. The volunteer will be responsible for proof of license and vehicle registration. Additionally, the agency will provide mileage reimbursements.
