Our 2023 Walk to End Alzheimer's Planning Committee has three subcommittees with member openings. Each subcommittee is vital to the success of our events taking place in Highland, Valparaiso, and Michigan City.
Executive Leadership:
o Serve as a volunteer leader for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s to ensure financial goals are achieved
o Recruit 3-5 new company sponsors/teams using a targeted approach that include introductions and attending meetings in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association staff
Community Engagement:
o Assist in recruiting back, retaining and stewarding previous years community teams.
o Help implement ways to build community awareness about Walk to End Alzheimer’s and our mission.
o Help strategize and implement community/friends & family kickoff for Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Event Experience:
o Work with the Event Experience Chair to secure Entertainment and Day of Event Volunteers for Walk Day.
o Ensure there’s a plan in place to recruit and educate participants on AIM - Advocacy.
o Incorporate Care & Support into Walk Day
