This volunteer position supports Youth Entrepreneurs Summer Enrichment and After School Program. This program seeks to increase targeted middle and high school students’ awareness and preparation for enrollment for YE's workshops and programs. The Recruitment Specialist manages and supports recruitment of and delivery of programming for middle and high school students in the Greater New Haven area who carry out Youth Entrepreneurship's Program in an assigned area to meet the organization's plan of achievement goals, objectives, and membership goal.

Mission Statement
Youth Entrepreneurs is a nonprofit organization cultivating "Generation Genius." Youth Entrepreneurs aims to provide entrepreneurship, leadership, and college prep programs to strengthen and empower youth and adults in underserved communities to contribute to the economies that support them. In addition, Youth Entrepreneurs promote intercultural awareness and communication among groups of different ethnic, racial, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds. Youth Entrepreneurs prioritize serving people of color and women -- particularly Black and Latinx youth-- who face persistent and significant barriers because of structural racism and sexism.
Description
Youth Entrepreneurs' Program is a focused program to address the country's young demographics to become productive individuals through entrepreneurship. The overall goal of Generation Genius will provide youth with the skills and knowledge necessary to start, own and operate their own business. This program, like our mission, is to empower our youth to become successful business professionals. Bonus, students will be introduced to STEM, Social Justice and Entrepreneurship
