We are looking for an English Teacher who can teach our End The Cycle children from the Amazon jungle how to speak English as a second language.
We are going to be opening an after school program beginning in March where children ages 8-16 will be able to learn English as a second language as well as tech skills such as digital design and how to build websites using tools like Wix.
The students will be divided in 2 groups and will attend the after school program twice a week. The first group will be children ages 8-12 years old who will attend Monday & Wednesdays. The second group will be children 12-16 who will attend Tuesdays and Thursdays.
You would be teaching English for one hour in the afternoons PERU TIME starting at 4pm.
THIS IS A REMOTE OPPORTUNITY.
However, there is also a possibility to travel to Peru to teach in person if it's something that interests you.
Requirements:
- Must be able to speak Spanish
- Must have at least one year of experience teaching English to children virtually
- Must be able to commit 4 hours per week.
- Must be enthusiastic about and ending the cycle of poverty through education and changing the lives of children
