Pathways to Citizenship is a small nonprofit based out of Solana Beach. We provide low cost and free legal and educational services for our immigrant neighbors in San Diego. We currently hold Citizenship prep courses in San Marcos and Solana Beach, we would like to start one at the Vista Library. These classes would happen once a week, on either a Tuesday or Wednesday evening.

Tutors will go over the 100 civics questions an immigrant may be faced with in their citizenship interview. These questions cover U.S. History, government functions, and citizen rights. Tutors will also help students practice their English skills in preparation for their citizenship exam.

We will provide materials needed such as flashcards and or a textbook. USCIS also offers a lot of free videos and study guides online that we can help tutors access.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to help qualified immigrants navigate the complex legal and cultural Pathways to Citizenship.

Description

We are a caring and dedicated team of attorneys and Department of Justice (DOJ) Accredited Representatives who are authorized to practice immigration law. We bring experience and a holistic, personal approach to help our neighbors on their journey to becoming a U.S. citizen.

We provide important legal services such as: Legal Permanent Resident Card Renewal, Family Based Adjustment of Status, DACA Renewal, and Naturalization Applications. Our legal services are free for those who qualify. We provide honest assessments of every legal situation, and our applications have a near-perfect record of approval by USCIS. Our ESL and citizenship programs prepare clients and students for the next step on their pathway.

We serve and care about our clients on a personal level. We spend time getting to know each client and understand their unique situation. Our clients and students trust us to support them during every step of their life-changing journey toward citizenship. Our vision is to be the most trusted and qualified provider of legal and educational services for our immigrant neighbors in San Diego.
